This is a lap, throw, baby, crib size rag quilt. I have been collecting this wonderful stash of pastel mainly floral fabrics for quite some time and now I am cutting into them. About half of the fabrics are Laura Ashwell Shabby Chic fabrics. It was a delight working with these fabrics and the ones I have collected in the same style as the shabby chic series. I love the almost tone on tone concept or the pastels that are just barely there to create flowers. These one-of-a-kind quilts create a very serene look with a cozy used quality about them. I have incorporated some lovely vintage fabrics along with satins and eyelets. The look of these quilts will make you want to just snuggle in with a good book.

Most of the fabrics used in this quilt are 100% cotton. This is a handmade quilt.

This quilt measures 38" x 34" made of 5 inch finished squares. Each square has been embellished with assorted ribbons or laces.

The batting is an extra heavy cotton flannel which only adds to the ruffling / ragging effect 
100 % cotton with no glues or resins 
The thread is 100% cotton

This quilt has been washed once to start the ragging process. Each washing only makes the quilt look better. This quilt is machine wash & dry.
